In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, our desire is to serve you and your family in a safe environment. For this to happen, we ask that everyone who attends read and follow the guidelines below.
WHAT WE ASK OF ATTENDEES
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 such as runny nose, red or puffy eyes, shortness of breath, fever, cough, chills, or sore throat please remain home. Even if these symptoms are due to an illness other than COVID-19, please refrain from attending in person worship until you have been symptom free without the use of medication for at least 48 hours. If you or the people you live with have contracted COVID-19, please refrain from attending in person worship for at least two weeks from when you or the people you live with tested positive. Even after two weeks, please make sure you have been symptom free without the use of medication for at least 48 hours.
If you have come into direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 please use wisdom and personal discretion when choosing between attending worship services online or in person. If you forgot to bring a face mask or are in need of one, we have face masks in the lobby available for use. While the wearing of face masks is not being enforced, we encourage personal discretion in the use of face masks. Please practice social distancing (6ft. or more). Please be sure to frequently sanitize your hands by using the various hand sanitization bottles throughout the church. You may also practice frequent hand washing by using one of the church restrooms.Giving online is the safest and easiest way to give. We encourage you to give your tithes and offerings online at gracepoint.church/give.
Water fountains are closed from use until further notice. If you are unable to give online, we still have an offering time. Instead of passing the offering basket around, we ask that people give by dropping off their offerings in one of the drop off boxes throughout the church or in the basket at the front of the altar during offering time. When sitting in the service, please try to remain with your family or the group you are attending with and distance yourself at least two seats over from others who are not a part of your group or family. If you or your loved ones have underlying health conditions, use personal discretion in attending in-person worship. If you are not able to attend in person, please be sure to join us live online through Facebook or You Tube starting at 10am on Sunday mornings. For additional information on safety concerning COVID-19, please refer to the CDC and current guidelines for the state of Tennessee at tn.gov.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
The church building is cleaned weekly between worship services.Church staff and elders are staying up to date with any current developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic through reading CDC and state guidelines, as well as the guidelines of other churches in the surrounding area.If any staff member is sick or showing symptoms of COVID-19 (runny nose, red or puffy eyes, shortness of breath, fever, cough, chills, or sore throat), they are required to remain home until symptom free without the use of medication for at least 48 hours. If a staff member thinks that they may have COVID-19 or are showing persistent symptoms, it is recommended that they get tested. If they should test positive, they are encouraged to quarantine for two weeks and contact those whom they have come into direct contact with. In addition, they will be required to refrain from entering the church building two weeks from when they tested positive.*Please note, you are attending at your own discretion. While we are taking necessary precautions, these precautions do not completely prevent the spread or infection of COVID-19.
